This Cookie Policy explains how Sūtra Retreats LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on sutraretreats.com. It applies to visitors from all countries, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Your choices matter. We do not load non-essential third-party scripts until you have given your consent. You can accept all cookies, use essential cookies only, or manage your preferences in detail at any time using the button below.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how people use the site. Similar technologies include localStorage (used by our consent manager to remember your cookie choice).
2. What We Do and Don’t Do
- We do not run advertising, retargeting, or behavioural tracking cookies.
- We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers.
- We do not load third-party scripts (Calendly) until you give your consent.
- We do load Google Fonts from Google’s CDN on all pages — this means Google receives your IP address as part of the font request. We consider this a functional necessity for the site’s design, but you can block it using browser extensions such as uBlock Origin if you prefer.

We do not currently use analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics). If we introduce analytics in future, this policy will be updated before deployment.
4. How to Manage Your Preferences
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Our consent banner: Shown on your first visit. Choose “Accept all”, “Essential only”, or use “Manage preferences” to toggle individual categories.
- Manage Cookies link: Click “Manage Cookies” in the footer of any page to update your preferences at any time.
